Governor Shumlin will harvest Capitol Christmas Trees at the Paine Family Tree Farm in Morrisville

WHAT: Governor Shumlin will continue the annual tradition of visiting a local tree grower to cut his own Christmas trees for the Statehouse and Pavilion Building. Deputy Secretary of Agriculture, Food, and Markets, Jolinda LaClair, will accompany the Governor.
WHEN: Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 1:00pm
WHERE: Paine’s Christmas Trees, a picturesque, quintessentially “Vermont” tree farm, easily accessible from 1-89 (14 miles/20 minutes from exit 10/Waterbury)

DIRECTIONS:
From exit 10 (Waterbury - Stowe)
Go north on Route 100, 10 miles to Stowe village, continue through village approximately four miles to tree farm which will be on your left.
From Morrisville, VT and points North:
Take Route 100 South from the village of Morrisville and go approximately five miles to the tree farm which will be on your right.
