Montpelier, VT – In anticipation of the visitors who will converge on Springfield, Vermont for the premier of the new Simpson’s movie, many Vermont specialty food producers have supplied products to give as gifts as a remembrance of their trip to our fine state.
The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Department of Travel & Tourism and Vermont Film Commission have coordinated with numerous Vermont producers to provide a special taste of Vermont for our visitors.
The Morse Farm has contributed maple sap buckets that will be filled with Vermont products which include: Grafton and Cabot cheeses, Lake Champlain chocolates, Green Mountain Coffee, maple syrup donated from the Maple Foundation, as well as items from Magic Hat, Vermont Teddy Bear, Vermont Ski Association, the Vermont Cheese Council, VT Farms! Association and Butternut Mountain Farm.
Vermont Chamber of Commerce Summer Guides and Vermont Attraction maps will also be included to assist our visitors in exploring Vermont.
Volunteers will pack the gift buckets on Thursday, July 19 at 1 p.m. at the Agency of Agriculture, 116 State Street, Montpelier, VT.
