Trade Associations/Organizations Legislation

Section personnel serve as Administrative Officer and provide administrative support for the Vermont Dairy Promotion Council. Staff is responsible for the collection of statutorily mandated assessments. Staff provide administrative support to the Vermont Milk Commission and routinely monitor retail fluid milk prices. Section staff are actively involved in trade associations/organizations such as the National Conference on Interstate Milk Shipments and Dairy Division of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture ensuring Vermont is represented in the national dairy policy decision making process.
