Maple Nut Bread Pudding

Six or seven slices of bread
2 ¼ cups of milk
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 cup of maple syrup
1/2 cup of raisins
¾ cup of chopped walnuts soaked in 1 ½ Tbsp. maple syrup

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Cube bread and mix with raisins. Put in buttered quart dish. Whisk milk, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and maple syrup together. Pour over bread and soak for a few minutes. Cover all the bread. Sprinkle walnuts over the top of the bread mixture.

Cook in 350-degree oven for about an hour – or until knife comes out clean. Serve with scoop of maple walnut ice cream and maple syrup drizzled on top.
