The
Secretary and deputy oversee the operation of the Agency, and
protect the interests of the consumer and the agricultural community
in the state, the region and the nation.
The business office performs administrative functions for the Agency. The staff is responsible for complete financial control of expenditures, budget preparations, purchase of supplies and equipment, preparation of payrolls and time reports, personnel matters, deposits and control of department receipts, assisting in administering Federal grants, contracts, and other duties. Other Administration staff work under the Secretary's direction on legal affairs, land use, farmland conservation, research and policy development. |
