Western Conifer Bug

Western Conifer Bug - www.caes.state.ct.us/FactSheetFiles/Entomology/fsen016f.htm

We get reports of a large bug that is still active late into the fall, looking for a place to overwinter. These insects are not considered economically important or a pest species, although they can inflict a painful bite if provoked. They spend most of their time on conifers but can be found around the house in the fall, ocassionally coming inside.
