Varroa Mite Update

There are now five Varroa Mite control products registered for use in Vermont. They are Apiguard, Apistan, ApiLife VAR, Mite-Away II, and Sucrocide.

Check with the various bee equipment supplier for sources of these mite control materials. All five of these products have very specific Label directions in regards to timing of application, use precautions, handling and personal safety. ALWAYS READ AND FOLLOW LABEL DIRECTIONS. DO NOT USE DIFFERENT PRODUCTS IN HIVES AT THE SAME TIME.
