Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets Laboratories

The Vermont Agriculture Laboratories provide a variety of analytical and diagnostic agricultural testing. The Agriculture laboratories are located at 103 South Main Street, Waterbury, VT 05671-0101.

Agency of Agriculture Laboratories include:

• Animal Health Laboratory
• Central Dairy Testing Laboratory
• Feed and Fertilizer Laboratory
• Meat Inspection Laboratory
• Molecular Biology Laboratory
• Pesticide Analysis Laboratory

Each section in the laboratory annually participates in national proficiency testing programs. Sections are approved by their Federal counterparts to do the official analysis for the interstate shipment of animals, dairy products, meats, animal feeds and fertilizers. The pesticide laboratory is recognized in the analysis of pesticides.
