Pesticide Analysis Laboratory

The Vermont Agency of Agriculture's Pesticide Analysis Laboratory was established in 1979. The pesticide laboratory monitors pesticide formulations sold at the retail level, pesticide applicators and their products, and checks pesticide residue levels in areas which may have been treated. This lab is an integral part of the Agency's pesticide enforcement program. These services are performed for the Agrichemical Management section to ensure safety of the public from the misuse of pesticides.
